Fizzy Living

It’s been an exciting week for Fizzy Living as we descended to the small screen on Wednesday! Fizzy was featured not once but twice on the Evening Standard’s exciting new TV channel, London Live.

“It is far more affordable and flexible renting, you just need a landlord who’s in it for the long term” – Harry Downes

Our MD Harry Downes had a very early morning start on as he appeared on the Wake Up London programme. He talked to Gavin Ramjuan about the rapidly growing rental market in London, and how companies like us are finally giving renters what they deserve – control back to tenants, and a reliable and responsible landlord! “We’ve got a patio which you could probably play cricket on” – Dom, Fizzy Poplar tenant

The second episode of property series Place Invaders, presented by Radio 1 DJ Charlie Sloth, graced our screens on Wednesday evening. After exploring around two multimillion pound houses in prime central London and seeing how the other half lives, the programme turned its attention to Generation Rent and showcased Fizzy Poplar and “its trendy concierge-serviced apartments” as a solution to housing the rentysomethings.

There’s a fantastic MTV-styled “Cribs” tour of a typical Fizzy flat from our lovely tenant Dom (thanks Dom!), and great interviews with Poplar ‘Bob’ Laura and Harry Downes. Click here to watch the episode (watch Fizzy from 18:00 minutes)
