We are absolutely delighted that our Fizzy Lewisham building is now almost 90% occupied, so what better way to get everyone talking to each other than a party! Fizzy parties are a great way for the tenants to get to know each other and the Fizzy team alike. We want everyone in the building to feel safe and comfortable at home, and knowing your neighbours is a big part of that.
Fizzy Lewisham’s property manager, Hannah, was joined by Fizzy staff to help throw a fantastic party for the tenants on Thursday 6th of October. While the Fizzy team kept up with the flow of food and drinks, the tenants got to know each other a little better over lots of prosecco! The highlight of the evening was the charity raffle with a range of prizes generously donated by some local Lewisham businesses. Prizes included a month’s gym membership by Glass Mill Leisure Centre, breakfast for two at Maggies, a facial & head massage and of course, bottles of fizz! Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful tenants, we managed to raise over £150 for AFRIL – Action for Refugees in Lewisham. The charity were absolutely delighted with the donation towards continuing help for refugee families in the area. We are proud to be part of the regeneration of Lewisham and it was great to partner with local businesses and a local charity and feel part of the community.
After the charity raffle the music was turned up and the drinks continued to flow well after midnight. On the night we also launched our Lewisham Facebook group, so the tenants can continue to stay in touch. Thanks to all of our Fizzy Lewisham residents who joined us for the evening – it was lovely meeting all of you and we are all eagerly looking forward to the next one.
