Seasonal Autumn Events Close to Fizzy!

Summer may be over and the days getting shorter, but here at Fizzy HQ, we can’t help but feel excited to start enjoying all things Autumn! Even though temperatures are cooling, London’s cultural calendar is definitely heating up…

Occasions such as Diwali, Halloween and Bonfire Night are just around the corner, so we thought we’d put together a fun list of events, firework displays and experiences taking place nearby our Fizzy locations to celebrate the annual festivities:

Canning Town

Cinnamon Kitchen in the City is hosting an intimate supper on the 24th of October, where a fully immersive Diwali Feast will be served. Tickets are limited, so if this is something that tickles your taste buds, be sure to book a place soon to enjoy this exquisite food.

If you’re after a Halloween experience to remember, head over to the O2 to see ‘Trapped in Wonderland’. This year the venue will be pulling out all the stops from the DJ’s to the incredible themed décor, the best part - it’s only 10 minutes from Fizzy Canning Town!

For those looking to celebrate Bonfire Night this year, Newham will be putting on a dazzling, space-themed display in the Royal Docks not far from Poplar. The show promises a lasting impression with its choreographed firework sequence set against London’s skyline.

For a hair-raising Halloween, head to The Ivory Vaults on the 25th of October for their Haunted Medieval Banquet. The intriguing underground venue is the home of zombies, vampires, and witches this Halloween, so only enter if you dare!

Join thousands to celebrate the festival of light on Trafalgar; the biggest Diwali event in London that is only a short tube journey from Fizzy! Enjoy music, dance performances, craft workshops, and lots of delicious food at this world renowned event.

For those in Walthamstow looking for a fantastic day trip out of London, we have just the place for you. The Royal Gunpowder Mills are described as ‘The most important site for the history of explosives in Europe’ and will be hosting a Bonfire weekend festival!

Stepney Green

The ever popular Victoria Park fireworks are back and this year with a spacetastic theme so the display will be out of this world! The spectacular fireworks on 3rd November will illuminate the skies above and keep the whole family entertained.

Stepney Green is only a stone’s throw away from Shoreditch - one of the capitals coolest areas! There will be plenty to choose from in this part of town, but we recommend the Shoreditch haunted pub crawl, tickets include entry, drinks and Halloween games at lots of spooky locations!

Celebrate Diwali with live music, dance, and crafts at the National Maritime Museum, just a short bus ride from Lewisham. There will be lots of activities running on 26th of October, and you can also join the parade down to Greenwich Park to finish off the day.

Blackheath's fireworks is one of London’s most popular Bonfire events with the display typically attracting crowds of up to 100,000! You can also enjoy funfair rides, snacks and winter hot chocolate before the grand finale on 2nd November!

Who will dare to enter the trick or treat maze at Chessington Garden Centre this Halloween? With ghouls and monsters at every turn, this event is for the brave, so bring your little monsters along for this thrilling family-friendly activity.

Carshalton has been hosting a firework display for 61 years, so rest assured they know what they're doing! Fun for all ages and beginning at 5pm on Saturday 2nd November, it’s not one to miss.

Just down the road from Hayes and running all weekend from 10am on 26th October, join Gunnersbury Park Museum for a Diwali festival of light, goodness and knowledge. As well as a packed schedule of fun activities and performances, there will also be a beautiful Rangoli flower art installation. What’s more – its free to all!

For any West Londoners looking for an activity packed Halloween weekend, check out the London Museum of Water and Steam. This fascinating site will be hosting activities for all ages throughout the weekend on the 26th October.
